My stay at Yha Grasmere Butharlyp Howe was superb. The perfect location provided easy access to the beautiful surroundings, and the room was impeccably clean with comfortable beds. Additionally, the checkout process was easy, making my departure hassle-free. I highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful stay.

I did find that the noise levels in the dormitories were quite disruptive. The floors creaked loudly, doors slammed noisily, and even the beds squeaked with the slightest movement.

The location was perfect for us - nestled in a quiet area, yet still right in the heart of the village. It was so convenient to have everything within walking distance, from hiking routes to charming cafes and bookshops. The hotel itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We really appreciated the individual cubicles for the showers and toilets, which made us feel like we had our own private space. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was spotless.

The old building was charming and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location was perfect for a Christmas break with beautiful views of the surroundings. the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals which was a bonus.

There was no Wi-Fi in our room and we had to go to the common areas to use it.

The location of this hostel was absolutely fantastic. It was conveniently situated within walking distance of the village, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the meals provided.

One downside of my stay was the noise in the mornings. Some guests seemed to have no concept of sleeping in and made quite a racket, which can be a bit disruptive if you're hoping to sleep in.

We loved our stay in this hotel. Best aspects were its cleanliness, hotel facilities, location in the lounge backing onto green gardens and helpful staff. We also had no trouble with parking and could easily move around by public transport or bike. Besides, breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.

I recently had a fantastic weekend in the heart of the stunning Lakeland hills. the location was perfect, with easy access to breathtaking mountain walks and just a short stroll to the center of town. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. the friendly staff gave me great tips for hiking routes, ensuring I made the most of my time in the area. Breakfast was delicious and served at a price that matched the local restaurants.

I did experience some discomfort with the mattresses, which were too thin and sagged easily, causing some back pain.

This youth hostel is housed in a fantastic Victorian mansion with a great location. Warm and clean, it offers the perfect spot for backpackers with a beautiful setting and excellent prices. the staff are friendly and helpful, and there are drying facilities for wet gear.

Felt at home instantly, nothing was too much trouble.
